Dr. Lise Phan graduated from UCI then received her MD from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She completed neurology residency at the University of Southern California and stayed there for Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship training.
The training includes performing EMG and treating neuromuscular disease. In addition it includes EEG interpretation, treatment of epilepsy and evaluating patients for surgical planning. She was also involved in several research projects in neuromuscular disease during her training.
Dr. Phan was born and raised in Orange County, California. She is a native speaker in Cantonese, Fujianese, is fluent in English and can speak conversational Spanish. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
She has a passion for taking care of patients with neurologic disorders and teaching them about their disease and partnering with them to obtain the best outcome.
