Andrew Imbus is a highly accomplished and experienced physician assistant with over 15 years of experience in the field. He began his practice in Arcadia, CA, working alongside his father, a local neurologist, focusing on general adult and pediatric neurology, including sleep medicine. He quickly established himself as a respected and skilled practitioner, and over the years has become one of the few physician assistants who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neurologic movement disorders.
Andrew is a highly sought-after speaker and has presented at numerous national conferences, as well as at multiple local Southern California support groups. He is a dedicated educator and mentor, and has been a guest lecturer at several local physician assistant programs, where he imparts his knowledge and expertise to the next generation of healthcare professionals. He is also a mentor to many PA students, medical students, and neurology resident physicians.
A Pasadena native, Andrew received his undergraduate training in Exercise Physiology from California State University, Northridge. During his undergraduate years, he also gained valuable experience working as a sleep and EEG technician. He then went on to complete his graduate physician assistant training at the University of Southern California - Keck School of Medicine. After graduation, he immediately began his practice in Arcadia and has since been dedicated to providing the highest level of care to his patients.
Throughout his career, Andrew has been involved in several important initiatives, including assisting in launching the Huntington Hospital Stroke Center to national recognition. He has been involved in ongoing research and has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals, which have helped to advance the field of neurology.
In addition to his professional pursuits, he is also a devoted family man. Andrew currently resides locally with his wife and two children, and enjoys spending time with them and participating in outdoor activities. He is also an active member of the community, and regularly volunteers his time and expertise to charitable organizations and causes.
