Lynsey Lakin is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner, certified as a fellowship-trained Multiple Sclerosis specialist and Chief Executive Officer of My Strength Wellness Program in Rancho Cucamonga, California. She has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Neurology since 2015. She is also a part-time lead professor for the master of science in nursing program at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California and provides preceptor training for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
Ms. Lakin received her master of science in nursing and certification as a Nurse Practitioner from Azusa Pacific University. She completed a fellowship in multiple sclerosis from the University of California, Riverside, in Riverside, California. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Azusa Pacific University, where the focus of her studies is Multiple Sclerosis patient population.
Ms. Lakin has participated in several national academic conferences as a faculty consultant, including serving as the current Co-Chair of the education committee for the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers and International Organization of Multiple Sclerosis Nurses. She received the Live Wise Award in 2020 and Nightingale Scholarship award in 2022 at the Annual Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers National Meetings. She is a member and actively involved in several professional societies, including the American Academy of Neurology and International Organization of Multiple Sclerosis Nurses.
